Nylon uses and what makes it useful in this application Non-decomposing fibres that are strong; it can be drawn into fibres. Used for Ropes/threads, nets and carpets (Think of NYLON as being shaped as a PYLON, similar to a net)
Terylene uses and what makes it useful in this application Tough and light fibre which is easily woven Fabric for shirts and bed linen (woven with cotton) It is light which makes it better for clothing than Nylon (Think of TERY as a terrier ripping a shirt)
Polyester linkage ESTER- IT IS HER! They catch the woman in the act O=C-O (OHH CIII OH, as an Italian woman having an affair)
Polyamide linkage Amide - AMIDE THE ONE FOR YOU, OCIANNAHHHHH!??! O=C-N-H -OCEANNAH!!
Poly(ethene)/polythene uses and properties that make it good in this application Light, bends without breaking, water proof POLY has lots of hand-bags, she's a shop-whore (polythene is used to make shopping bags ) Water proof - used for plastic bottles
