How does the writer feel about school? She loves it.
Name the language technique in lines 4-5. Pathetic fallacy
"Inside it was quiet and cool". State the language technique and it's effect, Foreshadow, builds tension.
"Sit down!". What kind of verbs are these? Imperatives
"Is this the big moment I've been waiting for? My whole being vibrated with all the joy in the world. I only had to stretch out my hand to reach the stars." Analyse the quote and state the language technique. What type of diction is being used? Hyperbole. Interrogative diction.
"I'll be a writer" "writer! he scoffed" What does the writer think of her ambitions? Clearly doesn't care about them.
