QuestionAnswer
System of Linear Equalities two or more linear equalities that form it together.
Solution of the System of Linear Equation any ordered pair in a system that makes the equation true.
No Solution when the graphs of the equations are parallel.
Infinitely Many Solutions when the graphs of the equations are on the same line.
Substitution Method a method of solving a system of equations by replacing one variable with an equivalent expression containing the other variable.
Elimination method a method for solving a system of linear equations. You add/subtract the equations to eliminate a variable.
Linear Inequality a mathematical sentence that describes a region of the coordinate plane having a boundary line. Each point in the region is a solution of the inequality.
Solutions of an Inequality any ordered pair that makes the inequality true.
System of Linear Inequalities Two or more linear inequalities using the same variable.
Solution of the System of Linear Inequalities makes each inequality in the system true. The graph of a system shows all of its solutions.
