formulas for area of polygons

parallelogram A = bh
rectangle A = bh
trapezoid A = 1/2 (a + b)h a and b are parallel bases
square A = s^2
area of equilateral triangle A = sq rt of 3(s^2)
area of regular hexagon A = 3(sq. rt of 3)/2 s^2
Triangle A = 1/2 bh
Area of irregular figure Sum of the smaller areas that make the polygon.
