TermDefinition
Ephemereal (adj) lasting a very short time. The ephemeral bug only stayed on the leaf for 4 seconds.
Evanescent (adj) tending to vanish like vapor. The kids blew bubbles then watched as the Evanescent bubbles vanished.
Fleeting (adj) short-lived. When the fire started, people tried to get the fleeting children out of there.
Itinerant (adj) traveling from place to place. Birds are a common Itinerant creature when they travel from a tree to their nest.
Nomadic (adj) wandering. "Today I saw this Nomadic kid, he was just walking around; confused." Jamie said.
Peripatetic (adj) movement. Alex began a peripatetic hiker after he suffered a medical condition.
Transient (adj) temporary, short time. Having a transient cut is like a person running into a house then quickly running out.
Transitory (adj) tending to pass away. When people become too sick they have a more chance of becoming transitory than they do being alive.
Volatile (adj) explosive or changing very quickly. "You have got to change this Volatile behavior. You might hurt someone." The teacher said.
