| Term | Definition |

| The coherence test | checks the internal consistency of a worldview to see if ones specific values and beliefs contradict any other beliefs within the worldview |
| The correspondence test | examines how well a worldview correspond to reality. It evaluates evidences and experience to see if the worldviews match with what one perceives in the real world |
| The practical test | evaluates a worldviews livability. Does the worldview bring satisfaction as one faces life’s challenges, or is it found to be lacking |
| • Knowledge | Is there absolute truth |
| • Ultimate reality | Is there a God? |
| • Ethics | c. How do we know right from wrong |
| • Nature of the universe | d. Is there a spiritual part to the universe |
| • Purpose | e. Does life have meaning |

| Close System | is God does not have an influence on the world but let’s other factor like nature to be the main influence our environment. |

| • Deism | b. Belief in a God who created all things but is not relational or involved in the world: |
| • Pantheism | c. Belief that “all is god” and a strong sense of spiritualism but not in a personal God |
