TermDefinition
Numerator The top number of a fraction that shows how many parts of the whole you have.
Denominator The number below the line in a fraction. It tells the number of equal parts into which a whole is divided.
Mixed Fraction: A fraction that includes wholes and parts.
Factor The whole numbers that are multiplied to get a product. Example: 2 X 4 2 & 4 are factors of 8
Multiple: A multiple of a number is that number multiplied by an integer. For examples, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 are multiples of 2.
Fraction: A fraction is two numbers written one above the other, that shows how much of a a whole thing we have.
