What is an integer? Plot integer on a number line. Opposites ex: 2 and -2. Compare ex: 5<-4; 2>-7
Absolute Value Ex: |4| = 4; |-3| = 3; |5|+|-2|=5+2=7 Hint: ||= positive number
Rational form Ex: 10= 10/1; -4.9= -4 9/10=-49/10
If it is a natural # Then the # is whole, integer, and rational as well.
If it is a whole # Then the # is an integer and rational as well.
If it is a integer Then it is a rational # as well.
