Ratios/Rates/Proportions

Ratio A comparison of 2 quantities
Rate A ratio that compares two quantities by division
Unit Rate A rate in which the second quantity in the comparison is one unit
Proportion A statement that 2 ratios or rates are equal
Scale Drawing A drawing of a real object that is proportionally smaller or larger than the real object
Scale Describes how the dimensions in the object compare
