| Point | Has no dimension and is represented by a small dot. |
| Line | A set of points in a straight path that extends infinitely in both directions. |
| Perpendicular lines | Two lines that form a right angle at their point of intersection. |
| Reflection | Transformation where a figure can be flipped. |
| Segment | A finite portion of a line that has 2 endpoints. |
| Collinear | Three or more points that lie in the same line. |
| Translation | A transformation where a figure can be slid. |
| Plane | A flat surface that extends infinitely in all directions. |
| Ray | A portion of a line that extends from one endpoint indefinitely in one direction. |
| Coplanar | Three or more points that lie in the same plane. |
| Isometry | A transformation that preserves length. Also called a rigid transformation. |
| Transformation | The operations that maps, or moves, a pre-image onto an image. |
| Rotation | Transformation where a figure can be turned; generally at a fixed point. |
| Dilation | Transformation where a figure can be enlarged or reduced. |
| Skew | Two lines that do not intersect and are not coplanar. |
