Cacophony (n.) lack of harmony; loud and unpleasant noise. Whenever the band preforms, it's sounds so cacophony.
Clamor (n.) unpleasant suond, noise. The teacher had to cover her ears due to the clamor effect of her class.
Din (n.) ongoing loud sound, noise. I couldn't get no sleep because of that idiot man playing a loud din noise.
Discordant (adj.) lacking harmony or agreement. "From man to man, the band looks and sounds discordant." Jordan's father said.
Euphony (n.) pleasing sound. The nice euphony melody to 'Crazy In Love'.
Mellifluous (adj.) sweet and smooth sounding. I always like hearing the song silent night, is soft, calm, and mellifluous.
Raucous (adj.) coarse-sounding; loud and unruly. The Queen stood and commanded with her raucous voice.
Strident (adj.) shrill; high-pitched. "Man, your voice is strong but always strident." Jamie squealed.
Vociferous (adj.) loud and noisy regarding one's own voice. Did you know that Melody had an Vociferous voice, she realized after she recorded her voice.
Acoustics (n.) the properties or qualities of a room or building that determine how sound is transmitted in it. The Church is so big, the acoustics will louden our voices.
