Precipitation Liquid water that falls to the earth.
Watercycke
Ocean Currents Streamlike movements of water. There are 2 currents deep currents and surface currents
Tides Daily changes in the level of the ocean water.
High tides
Crest, trough, wave length,wave height
What are the stages of the watercycle? Continues process of water to the land then to the atmosphere back to the land.
When do Neap tides occur? At 1st quarter and last quarter(90° angle)
Gulf stream
What are the parts of a wave?

Describe the major features of the ocean floor. Continental Slope- Begins at the edge of the continue shelf. Continental Rise- Base of the deep ocean basin. Abbysel Plain- Broad flat part of the deep ocean basin. Mid-ocean bridge- Mountain chain that form where tectonic plates separate.
Describe the major features of the ocean floor part 2. Ocean trench- huge cracks in the deep ocean basin (very deep). Continental Shelf-Begins at the shoreline and slopes gently toward open. Seamounts- a submerged mountain on the ocean floor of a volcanic origin. If a seamount keep erupting, island forms.
Describe the feature of the ocean floor part 3. Rift valley- A long narrow valley that forms as tectonic plates separate. Volcanic islands- Volcano on the ocean floor that is an island.

High tides When the moon's gravity pulls earth water in a bulge.
Low tides Water drawn away from areas from the the moon's gravity.
Waves Energy creates by wind that travels through the ocean water
