| Addition | To put together |
| Compare | Greater than, less than, or equal to (>, <, =) |
| Difference | The answer in a subtraction problem. |
| Equal | Worth the same value (=) |
| Even number | A number that has a 0, 2,4,6,8 in the ones place. Example: 10, 22 |
| Odd number | A number that has 1,3,5,7,9 in the ones place. Example: 7, 13 |
| Place value | The value of where the digit is in the number. |
| Related facts | Number sentences that are alike. |
| Round | Making a number simpler but keeping its value close to what it is. Example: 17 rounded to the nearest ten is 20 |
| Skip counting | Counting forwards or backwards by a number other than 1. Example: counting by 2's- 2, 4,6,8,10 |
| Subtraction | Taking one number away from another (-). |
| Sum | The answer in an addition problem. |
| Value | The worth of something. |
| Greater than (>) | Bigger Example: 5>3 |
| Less than (<) | Smaller Example: 4<9 |
| Equal to (=) | The same Example: 7=7 |
