What is the intent of the Outdoor Air Delivery Monitoring Credit? Provide capacity for ventilation system monitoring to sustain occupant comfort and well being.

What is required for EQ Credit 1? Install permanent monitoring systems to provide feedback on ventilation systems, and configure all monitoring equipment to generate an alarm when the conditions vary by 10% or more from a set point.
What is required for mechanically ventilated spaces for EQ Credit 1? Monitor CO2 concentrations in densely occupied spaces (greater than or equal to 25 people per 1000 sq. ft.); for non-dense: a direct outdoor airflow measurement device with an accuracy of plus or minus 15% of the design minimum outdoor airflow rates.
What is required for naturally ventilated spaces for EQ Credit 1? Monitor CO2 concentrations within all naturally ventilated spaces. Locate monitors within the room between 3 and 6 feet above the floor.

How many points are available for Controllability of Systems? Two
What is the intent of Controllability of Systems Credit 6.1? Provide a high level of lighting system control by individual occupants or by specific groups in multi-occupants or by specific groups in multi-occupant spaces to promote productivity, comfort, and well-being of building occupants.
What is the requirement of EQ 6.1? Provide individual lighting controls for 90% of the building occupants to enable adjustments to suit individual task needs AND provide lighting system controllability for all shared multi-occupant spaces.
What is the intent of Controllability of Systems Credit 6.2? Provide a high level of thermal comfort system control by individual occpuants or by specific groups in multi-occupant spaces to promote productivity, comfort and well-being of building occupants.

How is comfort system control defined for Controllability of Systems? Control over one of the following factors: air temperature, radiant temperature, air speed, and humidity.

What is EQ Credit 7 called? Thermal Comfort
