Vocabulary review and practice equations

What is the definition of "variable"? A quantity represented by a single variable.
What is an equation? A mathematical statements that values two expressions as equal.
What is the definition of "coefficient"? A number placed before and multiplying the variable.
Solve for x. x + 4 = 16 x = 12
Solve for y. 7y = 42 y = 6
Solve for t. -8t = 16 t = -2
Solve for m. 9m = 12 m = 4/3
Solve for b. 5/b = 15 b = 3
Solve for w. w/6 = -3 w = -18
Solve for c. -2c = 11 c = -11/2
Solve for r. r - 16 = 17 r = 33
Solve for x in terms of y. x + y = 4 x = 4 - y
Solve for g in terms of h. g - 3h = 1 g = 3h + 1
BONUS: Solve for y in terms of x. 3x - y = x + 2 y = 2x - 2
