Math Vocabulary Quiz

QuestionAnswer
Rectangular Array A strategy of arranging objects into rows and columns to find a product.
Regroup To rearrange the formation of a group of numbers.
Repeated Addition Adding the same number over and over again (a strategy for multiplying)
Round To estimate and find a number that is close to the exact amount
Multiply To combine equal groups
Place Value The amount a digit is worth based on its position in a number
Product The answer to a multiplication problem.
Area of a Rectangle Breaking apart factors into easier multiplication facts then adding the products.
