| Drama | a story written by to be acted for an audience |
| Tragedy | a play, novel other narrative that depicts serious and important events when the character comes to an unhappy ending |
| Prologue | A short introduction at the beginning of a play that gives a brief overview of the plot |
| Chorus | A group who says thing at the same time |
| Static Character | character who does not change during the story |
| Dynamic Charcter | who changes throughout the story |
| Aside | mumble under their breath |
| Blank verse | unrhymed iambic petameter |
| Couplet | two consecutive linear of poetry that rhyme |
| Iambic meter | unstressed syllable followed by a stressed syllable |
| Iambic Pentameter | five verse feet with each foot an imab (a total of 10 syllables) |
| Pun | the numerous use of a word or phrase to sagged two more meaningly at the same time |
