Checking account Deposit checks and currency into this account
Check A paper document directing a bank to deduct money from your checking account to make a payment
Check register Keeps record of your deposits, electronic transfers, checks you have written and any ATM transactions
Balance Amount of money in your account
Bank statement All of the activity in your account since your last statement
Service charge A charge for services that bank rendered to your statement
Reconcile Compare with your check register to be sure they coincide
Online banking Internet banking, allows you to bank from anywhere
