Integer Rules

A way to help you remember Integer Rules

QuestionAnswer
When Adding integers with the same sign... You add the numbers and keep the Sign
When Adding integers with two different signs... You subtract the absolute values and keep the sign of the biggest number.
Subtraction is like adding the opposite, so what is the rule? Keep Change Flip!
Think of socks... 1 sock = negative The socks equal positive numbers, so what is -9 x 7=? -63
-8 - 3= -11
