Free Fall Motion that is only under the influence of gravity
Velocity Speed together with the direction of motion, change in displacement per time interval
Speed How fast something is moving
Magnitude The size of what you're measuring.
Motion Change in an objects position relative to a given observer during a certain amount of time.
Reference Frame includes an object of reference, a coordinate system, a coordinate system with a scale for measuring distance and a clock for measuring time.
Linear Motion Model of motion that assumes that an object moves along a straight line
Position location of an object with respect to a particular reference point
displacement distance and direction between starting and ending points.
distance how far an object traveled without regard for direction
instantaneous velocity the velocity of an object at any instant in time
average velocity total change in displacement during a specific time interval
constant velocity The change in displacement is the same for each time interval
acceleration change in velocity per time interval
constant acceleration the change in velocity is the same for each time interval
