Ratio To compare two different quantities to each other.

expressions is a mathematical phrase that can contain ordinary numbers, variables (like x or y) and operators (like add,subtract,multiply, and divide).
Order of Operations PEMDAS. This is the order of operations and you start out with Parenthesis, then exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction.
Commutative Property of addition The Commutative Property is the one that refers to moving stuff around. For addition, the rule is "a + b = b + a"; in numbers, this means 2 + 3 = 3 + 2.
