Antecede. verb-to come, go, order, rank, or position.
Antecedent. one that goes before another, also one's ancestors.
Exceed. verb-to extend beyond or outside.
Intercede. verb-to plead on another's behalf.
Precede. verb-to come, go, or exist before in time, order.
Precedent. an occurrence that is used as an example with similar instances at a later time.
Proceed. verb-to continue.
Recede. verb-to move back or away from.
Retrocede. verb-to give back, return.
Secede. verb-to withdraw formally from membership in an organization or alliance.
Anachronism. noun-anything out of its proper historical time.
Chronic. adjective-continuing for a long time such as a chronic disease.
Chronicle. noun-an account of events arranged in order of time.
Chronological. adjective-arranged in order of time of occurrence.
Chronology. noun-a list of events arranged according to time of occurrence.
Chronometer. noun-a precision instrument that measures time.
Synchronize. verb-to cause to operate in unison, as to synchronize watches.
Circuit. noun-the regular journey around a territory by a person performing duties.
Circuitous. adjective-roundabout, winding.
Circumference. noun-the outer boundary line around a circular area.
Circumlocution. noun-a roundabout way of saying something.
Circumnavigate. verb-to sail around.
Circumscribe. verb-to limit, to confine.
Circumspect adjective-cautions, careful to consider possible consequences.
Circumstance. noun-a fact or an event accompanying another fact or event.
Circumvent. verb-to get around or to overcome by clever maneuvering, to prevent.
Cognitive. adjective-relating to or involving conscious activity, such as thinking or remembering.
Cognizant. Adjective-knowledgeable or understanding of something.
Diagnosis. noun-investigation or analysis of a condition, situation, or problem.
Diagnostic. adjective-a distinguishing sign or symptom.
Incognito. adjective or adverb-with one's identity concealed or disguised.
Metacognition. noun-knowledge about one's own learning or thinking processes.
Prognosis. noun-literally foreknowledge, a prediction of the prospect of recovery from a disease.
Prognosticate. verb-literally sign of the future, a forecast or prediction.
Coherent. adjective-literrally sticking together.
Collaborate. verb to labor together.
Collusion. noun-a secret agreement between two or more persons for a purpose.
Commensurate. adjective-equal in measure or size.
Commiserate verb-to sympathize.
Commotion. noun-people moving together, social disorder.
Compunction. noun-an uneasiness caused be a sense of guilt, a regret.
Concur. verb-to express agreement, to be of the same opinion.
Condone. verb-to forgive or overlook.
