Numerator The number above the fraction line.
Denominator The number below the fraction line.
Estimate An approximate calculation.
Sum The total amount of two or more numbers.
Difference The result of a subtraction problem.
Algorithm A process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem solving.
Equivalent Equal in value.
Comparing Examining the difference between numbers to determine whether one number is greater than ( > ), less than ( < ), or equal to ( = ) another number.
Hundredths The position of the second digit to the right of the decimal point.
Thousandths The position of the third digit to the right of the decimal point.
