How many turns of safety wire should be wrapped around the shank of a turnbuckle to terminate the safetying? At least 4 wraps
What is the purpose of a turnbuckle in a control system? to make tension adjustments on cable controlled systems

What is the requirement for selection of a cotter pin? use the largest size that will fit consistent with the diameter of the cotter pin hole and/or the slots in the nut.
What are the standard sizes of safety wire for aircraft hardware? 0.025, 0.032, and 0.041
