Digit Any symbol 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ,7, 8, or 9.
Place Value The value a digit has because of its place in a number.
Ones The value of the digit in the first position from the right.
Tens The value of the digit in the second position from the right.
Hundreds The value of the digit in the third position from the right.
Thousands The value of the digit in the fourth position from the right.
Round To find the nearest tens or hundreds.
Whole Numbers Counting numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and so on.
