Resolution\Denouement End of a story in which any unanswered questions
Oral l-Literature literature that was originally not written down but was memorized and recited
Point Of View (POV) The perspective from which a story is told
First person (POV) the story is told from the point of view of a character in the story
Third person (POV) The story is told by someone who is outside the story
Omniscient (POV) the narrator knows everything about the characters and events and reveals details that even the characters themselves could not reveal
Limited Omniscient (POV) The narrator is outside the story and knows the thoughts and feelings of some (but not all) characters
Protagonist The central character in literary world around whom the action revolves
Setting The time and place in which the events of a literary work occur
Suspense A feeling of curiosity or dread about what will happen next in a story
