BBB(Better Business Bureau) A nonprofit organization focused on creating a more trusting relationship between businesses and consumers.
Consumer Union A nonprofit organization best known as the publisher of Consumer Reports, a monthly magazine that publishes reviews, comparisons, ratings of consumer products and services.
CPSC(Consumer Product Safety Commission) An agency that protects consumers from unreasonable risk of injury or death from potentially hazardous consumer products.
FDA(Food&Drug Admission) An agency that enforces the laws and regulations preventing distribution of mislabeled foods, drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices.
FTC(Federal Trade Commission) An agency that regulates unfair methods of competition, false or deceptive advertising, deceptive product labeling ,and the concealment of the true costs of credit.
Small Claims Court A court of limited jurisdictions that resolves cases involving small amounts.
