Circumlocution The use of many words where fewer would do; going around the topic/avoiding a topic, deliberately vague/ evasive.
Colloquial Ordinary/familiar conversation, not formal or literary.
Diffuse Spread or cause to spread over wide/large area or among a large amount of people; spread out over a large area; not concentrated.
Digress Leave the main subject temporarily in speech/ writing; deviate, go off tangent.
Eloquence Fluent or persuasive speaking or writing, fluency.
Garrulous Excessively talkative, especially on trivial matters, talkative, chatty.
Grandiloquent Pompous/ extravagant in language, style, or manner, especially in a way that is intended to impress.
Loquatious Talking a great deal; talkative.
Prattle Talk at length in a foolish/inconsequential way; foolish/inconsequential talk.
Rant Speak/shout at length in a wild, impassioned way; spell or ranting; a tirade.
Rhetorical Of relating to, or concerned with the art of rhetoric; expressed in terms intended to persuade/impress; (of a question) asked in order to produce an effect or to make a statement rather that to elicit information.
Verbose Using or expressed in more words than needed.
Voluble Spoken incessantly and fluently.
