elementos sustancia que no se puede separar en sustancias mas simples o pequenas.
numero atomico indica el numero de protones que hay en el nucleo de un atomo
simbolo quimico abreviatura que representa a un elemento
tabla periodica se utiliza para organizar los elementos
metales la mayoria son solidos, son lustrosos o brillantes, son maleables, son buenos conductores de calor y electricidad,
no metales muchos son gases, tienen un color opaco (no lustroso), son no maleables, son malos conductores de calor y electricidad. Los que son solidos, se rompen facilmente (son quebradizos)
metaloides por lo general son solidos, tienen algo de brillo, son poco maleables, no son tan quebradizos y son semiconductores
elementos que forman la Tierra oxigeno, silicio, aluminio, calcio, sodio, potasio, magnesio, niquel y hierro.
protones tienen carga positiva y se encuentran en el nucleo del atomo
neutrones no tienen carga y se encuentran en en nucleo del atomo
electrones tienen carga negativa y se encuentran en una capa, o nube, fuera del nucleo del atomo
