| contemplate | think carefully, consider |
| assume | believe that something is true |
| assess | carefully consider a situation, evaluate |
| cynical | not honest, someone who only cares about themselves |
| deduce | know something as a result of considering some info |
| deliberate | think or discuss something very carefully |
| dilemma | a situation in which you have to make a difficult decision |
| discriminate | treat someone unfairly. Recognise the difference between things |
| dubious | not completely good, sure or honest |
| estimate | to guess by approximation. An amout that you guess |
| faith | strong belief in something |
| gather | believe that something is true, suppose, imagine. To meet |
| genius | someone really intelligent |
| grasp | to understand something |
| guesswork | the process of trying to find the answer to something by guessing |
| hunch | feeling that something is true or will happen |
| ideology | system of ideas |
| ingenious | with new and clever ideas |
| inspiration | a sudden feeling of enthusiasm or a new idea |
| intuition | an ability to know or understand something through your feelings |
| justify | show good reasons for an opinion or argument |
| naïve | when a person lacks experience |
| notion | an idea or understanding of something |
| optimistic | hopeful, confident about the future |

| pessimistic | not hopeful about the future |
| plausible | likely to be true, honest |
| ponder | think carefully before making a decision |
| prejudiced | when someone has unreasonable ideas without previous knowledge |

| reflect | think something carefully and seriously |
