static electricity A buildup of charges on an object.
electric current The continuous flow of electric charges through a material.
battery A combination of two or more electrochemical cells in series.
circuit Includes a power source

ammeter measures the current flow (of electrons)
voltmeter device used to measure voltage
resistor An electrical device that resists the flow of electrical current (eg light bulb)
switch A device to open or close a circuit - controls the flow of electrons
electrical charge a fundamental property of matter that can be either positive or negative.
electrode A metal strip that conducts electricity
