Nip and Tuck Being so close that the contestant in the lead changes often and quickly
Nodule A small rounded or irregular mass either on a plant/herb or near an arthritic joint.
Non sequitur A statement(like a response) that isn't related to anything else said before it.
Nonce word A word made for one single occasion only
Nostrum 1. A medicine with a secret composition recommended by its maker without its effectiveness scientifically proven. 2. A QUESTIONABLE cure or scheme
Nota bene Used to call attention to something important
Nubby Having or being like nubbles, or having nubs a nubby fabric)
Nuclear family The part of the family having only the father, mother, and children.
Numinous 1. supernatural, mysterious 2. Holy 3. Appealing to the aesthetic or spiritual sense
Panacea Something that will make everything about a situation better
Jackal 1. a wild dog found in Asia and Africa 2. A person who performs routine tasks for another, or a person serves or collaborates with another (specially in the commission of base acts)
Jack-rabbit A large rabbit found in North America
Jaunty 1. stylish, uppity 2. lively in manner or appearance
