| Non sequitur | A statement(like a response) that isn't related to anything else said before it. |
| Nonce word | A word made for one single occasion only |
| Nostrum | 1. A medicine with a secret composition recommended by its maker without its effectiveness scientifically proven. 2. A QUESTIONABLE cure or scheme |
