Define Dystrophy Dys: bad, without trophy: nourishment
What is the difference between Hypertrophy and Atrophy? Hypertrophy increases in size, but not in number. Whereas, atrophy is literally wasting away. It's a diminished volume of tissue, an organ, or a body part.

Write down a list of 6 diagnostic methods for disorders of muscles and tendons. Then check your answers. Blood tests, electromyography (EMG), MRI and CT scan, muscle biopsy, genetic testing and myositis specific antibodies (MSA)
What are some therapeutic methods of disorders of muscles and tendons? Write these down, and then come back and check to see if you were right! RICE (rest, ice, compression and elevation), physical therapy, medication, surgery and orthopedic appliances
