Photon | A packet of light energy. |
Sodium Vapor Light | A light in which neon or argon is heated until it causes sodium to change from a solid to a gas. |
Electromagnetic Radiation | Energy that is transferred by electromagnetic waves. |
Photoelectric Effect | When you shine a light on certain substances causing electrons to flow. |
Visible Light | The part of the electromagnetic spectrum you can see. |
Thermogram | Identifies the warm and cool parts of an object by using infrared rays. |
Incandescent Bulb | A light bulb that glows when a filament inside it gets hot. |
Fluorescent Bulb | A light bulb that glows when current causes ultraviolet waves to strike a coating of powder. |
