| end rhyme | last word of each line ends with same sound |
| allusion | a brief reference to something or someone |
| couplet | two lines that rhyme |
| haiku | a single subject poem 3 lines that don't rhyme |
| dialogue | lines spoken by actors in a script |
| drama | a story written to be preformed by actor; a play |
| act | a major section of a play, made of several scene |
| scene | a subdivision of an act |
| script | the written text of a play |
