| Term | Definition |

| Analog Clock | when it has moving hands, and hours marked from 1 to 12, to show you the time. |
| Data | A collection of facts, such as numbers, words, measurements, observations or even just descriptions of things |
| Bar Graph | A graph drawn using rectangular bars to show how large each value is. The bars can be horizontal or vertical. |
| Elapsed Time | the amount of time that has passed since a particular process started, |
| Minute | a period of time equal to sixty seconds |
| Hour | a period of time equal to sixty minutes |
| Picture Graph | Type of graph that uses symbols and pictures to represent data. |
| P.M. | Is the half of the day from Midday to Midnight. What we call afternoon and evening. |
| Time | a point of time as measured in hours and minutes past midnight or noon. |
| Time Intervals | Difference between the occurrence of two events measured in time. |
| Minute | a period of time equal to sixty seconds |
| Digital Clock | is a type of clock that displays the time digitally |
| Half Hour | a period of thirty minutes |
| Quarter Hour | a period of 15 minutes |
| Line Plot | s a graph that shows frequency of data along a number line. |
| gram | A metric unit of mass (weight) The abbreviation is g. |
| kilogram | A Metric measure of mass. The abbreviation is kg. 1 kg = 1,000 grams. |
| liter | A metric unit of volume mostly used to measure liquids. The abbreviation is L. |
| milliliter | A Metric unit of volume for small amounts of liquid. The abbreviation is ml or mL |
| metric | based on the meter as a unit of length |
