Les anomalies et altérations de la forme du cheveu .

La Trichoclasie . Fracture du poil dans le sens transversal ou longitudinal .
Le Pili torti (poil tordu ) Malformation de la forme du cheveu , le cheveu est alternativement plat puis en tire bouchon . les cheveux sont fragiles et cassants ,difficiles à coiffer .
Le Monilethrix (cheveu en chapelet ) . Maladie héréditaire qui atteint le bulbe du cheveu .Peu après la naissance ,le s cheveux tombent ,le cuir chevelu se recouvre d'un fin granité .
La trichorrexie noueuse (maladie de la perle .) Affection très fréquente des cheveux et de la barbe ,elle se caractérise par des renflements blanchâtres (perles) ,il s'agit donc d'un éclatement d'une explosion du cheveu .
Les cheveux laineux . Anomalie rare donnant un aspect de cheveux crépus ,négroïdes ,laineux au toucher ,difficiles à coiffer .
La trichoptilose (cheveux fourchus ) La trichoptilose est une trichoclasie rupture du cheveu dans le sens longitudinale .L'extrémité du cheveu présente un aspect fourchu ,à 2ou 3 branches ou même en barbes de plumes .
Les cheveux noueux (trichonodosis ) Affection acquise chez les sujets longs et bouclés ou crépus .Les cheveux s'enroulent sur eux même spontanément ou sous l'action de brossages et de grattages ,jusqu'a former des noeuds .
Les cheveux incoiffables . Malformation congénitale ,tige pilaire de section triangulaire ,creusée d'une gouttière longitudinale .Chevelure ébouriffée résistant à toute tentative de coiffage .
