Anaphora The repetition of a word at the beginning of phrase or clause
Asyndenton The omission of conjunctions in a sentence
Chiasmus A figure of speech where two or more clauses or reversed
Juxtaposition A device where the main ideas or placed up against each other for comparison
Loose Sentence A sentence where the main idea is at the beginning of the sentence
Periodic Sentence A sentence where the main idea is at the end of the sentence
Polysyndenton The use of many conjunctions
Rhetorical Question A question where no answer is expected
