Angle Relationships

supplementary angles 2 angles that add up to 180 degrees....The angles do not have to be adjacent.
consecutive interior angles (using parallel lines) angles inside of parallel lines, one right after the other....are supplementary
interior inside
alternate exterior angles (using parallel lines) angles outside of the parallel lines, on opposite sides of the transversal...are congruent
congruent same (equal) measurement
complementary angles 2 angles that add up to 90 degrees....The angles do not have to be adjacent.
exterior outside
linear pair 2 adjacent angles that form a straight line
adjacent next to, share a side

transversal a line that crosses through two or more lines
