Primary Alcohol to Aldehyde Acidified Potassium dichromate, Distil
Primary Alcohol to Carboxylic Acid Acidified Potassium dichromate, Reflux
Secondary alcohol to Ketone Acidified Potassium dichromate, Reflux
Aldehyde or Ketone to Nitrile HCN in the presence of alkali.

Carboxylic Acid or Aldehyde to Primary Alcohol NaBH4
Ketone to Secondary Alcohol NaBH4
Phenol to Ester Acyl chloride or acid anhydride.

Benzene to Nitrobenzene Concentrated HNO3, H2SO4, less that 55 degrees
