What did Ohm discover? Georg Ohm found that current voltage and resistance in a circuit are always related in the same way
What have a constant resistance regardless of the applied voltage? Conductors
Ohm's Law Resistance = voltage / current
What is a circuit made of? All electric circuits have: devices that run on electrical energy, sources of electrical energy, and conducting wires.
Electrical Sources Batteries and power plants
Circuit Resistors Appliances that transform electrical energy like a toaster
Conducting Wires Allow charges to flow from the energy source to the device and back to the energy source
Switch Controls current/ if opened it shuts off device
Series Circuit All parts of an electric circuit are connected one after another along one path
Parallel Circuit Different parts of the circuit are in separate branches
