Quadrilaterals

What types of Quadrilaterals are there? Quadrilateral, square, rectangle, rhombus, kite, parrallelogram, trapezoid, and isoceles trapezoid.
What is a parallelogram? A quadrilateral in which both pairs of opposite sides are parallel
What is a rectangle? A parallelogram withh four right angles.
What is a Rhombus? A parallelogram with four congruent sides.
What is a square? A rectangle with 4 congruent sides or a rhombus with 4 right angles.
How many properties does a square have? 10
What is a trapezoid? A quadrilateral with one pair of opposite sides parallel.
What is a Isoceles Trapezoid? A trapezoid with congruent legs.
What is the midsegment of a trapezoid? a segment joining the midpoints of the two legs.
What is a Kite? a quadrilateral with two pairs of consecutive with two pairs of consecutive sides congruent but no opposite sides parallel.
What are the angles of Kite? Perpendicular
How many pairs of opposite angles are in kite? One
How to prove a quadrilateral is a parallelogram? 1.) Prove both pairs of opposite sides parallel. 2.) Prove both pairs of opposite angles congruent. 3.) Prove the diagnols bisect each other 4.)Prove both pairs of opposite are congruent 5.) Prove one pair opposite sides congruent and parallel.
