What were the Maya's believed to use as the ball for the ball game? They were believed to use a severed head.
What were the elaborate cities of the Maya's made out of? The elaborate cities were made out of stone.
Where did the Maya civilization live ? The Maya civilization lived in the Yucatan.
What region of land did the Maya settle in? The Maya's settled in Mesoamerica.
What were the two geographic regions that the Maya homeland contained? The Maya homeland contained the rainforest and dry tropical forest.
What did the Mayas predict ? They predicted eclipses.
What was the Maya writing system based on? They were based on hieroglyphics.
