stent a tubular support placed temporarily inside a blood vessel, canal, or duct to aid healing or relieve an obstruction.
septum a partition separating two chambers, such as that between the nostrils or the chambers of the heart.
pacemaker an artificial device for stimulating the heart muscle and regulating its contractions.
stethoscope steth- chest scope-instrument used for visual examination/ a medical instrument for listening to the action of someone's heart or breathing
hypertension hyper- above, excessive/ abnormally high blood pressure.
oral of or relating to the mouth.
tounge the fleshy muscular organ in the mouth of a mammal, used for tasting, licking, swallowing, and (in humans) articulating speech.
ulcer an open sore on an external or internal surface of the body, caused by a break in the skin or mucous membrane that fails to heal.
lumen The inner open space or cavity of a tubular organ, as of a blood vessel or an intestine.
ileus Intestinal obstruction causing colic, vomiting, and constipation.
