cosmic ADJ. of or relating to the universe or cosmos, especially as distinct from the earth.
cosmography N. the science that deals with the general features of the universe, including the earth. The branches of cosmography include astronomy, geography, and geology.
cosmology N. the science of the origin and development of the universe.
cosmonaut N. a Russian astronaut
cosmopolitan ADJ. familiar with and at ease in many different countries and cultures.
cosmos N. the universe seen as a well-ordered whole
macrocosm N. the whole of a complex structure, especially the world or universe, contrasted with a small or representative part of it.
microcosm N. a community, place, or situation regarded as encapsulating in miniature the characteristic qualities or features of something much larger.
