Cross-pollination it occurs by transfer of pollen from the anther of one plant's flower to the stigma of a flower of the same kind of plant
Fertilization the process when the sperm cells from the pollen grains enter the ovules and join the egg cells
Nectar a sweet liquid that is produced by many flowers that some animals use as food, if the flower has a color and/or scent, it's a sign that it has nectar
Berry a type of fruit that has seeds throughout the flesh of a single enlarged ovary, like watermelons, blueberries, and tomatoes
Aggregate fruits it is a type that is made up of many fruitlets, each fruitlet develops from one pistil of a flower of many pistils, Ex strawberry
Pome the type of fruit of which seeds are in its core, the core form from a single flower's parts that surround the ovary, like apples and pears
Drupe it is a kind of fruit that has a single seed with a hard covering, the seed develops from a single pistil of a flower with many pistil, like plums
Multiple fruit it is a type of fruit that is made up of fruitlets that develop from the pistils of several flowers on the same plant, like figs and pineapples
Tubers they are underground stems for some plants that swell (enlarge) to store food, such as potatoes
