TermDefinition
Equivalent Fractions Different fractions that equal the same number.
Multiplicative inverse changes from a/b to b/a.
Percent of change is something which it gain or lose value.
Proportion if two ratio are equal
ratio EX: 4:8 9:3
Similar figures same shape, but different size
Unit Rate is a rate where the denominator is 1 when written by fraction.
Scale Factor ex: 12/24=1/2
Constant of Proportionality The constant value of a ratio
Indirect Measurement Is a method of using proportions to find a unknown length.
Principal amount of money borrowed.
Simple Interest is interest paid only to the principal
