| Force | A Push or Pull |
| Newton | The SI unit of the strength of force. |
| Net Force | A combo of every force that acts on an object. |
| Unbalanced Forces | Net Forces with different amounts of newtons acting on an object. |
| Balanced Forces | Net Forces with equal amounts of newtons acting on an object. |
| Friction | A force that two surfaces exert on each other when rubbed against one another. |
| Static Friction | The friction that acts on objects that aren't moving. |
| Sliding Friction | The friction created when two surfaces slide over each other. |
| Rolling Friction | The friction created from a rolling object on a solid surface. |
| Fluid Friction | The friction caused when a solid object passes through a liquid substance. |
| Gravity | A force that pulls objects toward each other. |
| Mass | The measure of the amount of matter in an object. |
| Weight | The gravitational force exerted on a person or object at the surface of a planet. |
| Free Fall | When only the force of gravity is acting on an object. |
| Air Resistance | A upward force exerted on falling objects. |
| Projectile | An object that is thrown. |
| Compression | An elastic force that pushes matter together. |
| Tension | An elastic force that stretches or pulls matter. |
