Prefix/Suffix

| con- | When added to a word, this prefix means "to be/go against". |

| -er | When added to the end of an adjective, it can make it comparative. |
| -tion | This suffix can make a word either express an action( i.e., make a verb into a noun) or show a state of being |
| -ate | This suffix is used in forming adjectives, also nouns derived from them, meaning "tending to; having the nature of." |
| pre- | This prefix means "to do /come before". |
| -ive | This suffix means "having the appearance of" (can be used to form adjectives). |
| -ful | This suffix, used to form adjectives, means "having the quality or condition of." |
