| equivocate | use ambiguous language so as to conceal the truth or avoiding comitting oneself |
| assiduous | showing great care/perseverance |
| aptitude | a natural ability to do something |
| circumspect | wary and unwillingly to take risks |
| metamorphosis | transformation into an adult, the term is most commonly used with bugs |
| substantive | having a firm basis and being meaningful |
| nepotism | the practice among those with power or influence of favoring relatives or friends, especially by giving them jobs |
| solicitous | characterized by showing interest or concern |
| inclement | unpleasntly cold and/or wet |
| obscure | not discovered or known about; uncertain |
